It has been ages since Gautam Gambhir picked up a cricket bat. He has been trying his hand at commentary after he bid adieu to the game and has become an accomplished broadcaster and is never one who feels shy of expressing his opinions. He is quiet a favourite on television and social media for his opinions and comments which sparks a widespread debate often.

For now, though, it is time for Gautam Gambhir to get back to his old avatar of being a cricketer as he prepares to come back and lead his side the India Capitals in the Legends League Cricket tournament. In the first game that the India Capitals played, Jaques Kallis was leading the side in his absence.

Gambhir, who missed the team’s first match against the Gujarat Giants on Saturday, September 17th, is expected to lead the Indian Capitals in their upcoming contest. The left-handed opening batter shared an Instagram story on Tuesday, September 20th, to give fans a sneak peek into his practice session ahead of the match against the Bhilwara Kings.
