The match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants was a low scoring thriller. The Ekana Stadium did not have the best of conditions for batting and RCB somehow managed to defend a low total of 126 and win the game by 18 runs in the end.

After the match finished, Gautam Gambhir came on and engaged in a fiery war of words with Virat Kohli. In the end, their teammates had to butt in to stop the fight. Gautam Gambhir had put on an aggressive celebration when LSG had won a last ball thriller at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

He put a finger on his lips and signalled the crowd to keep quiet. At Lucknow Kohli did something similar but he asked the crowd to keep cheering for RCB when LSG lost their second wicket. The heated exchange had just begun. When the match ended, Gambhir had a very aggressive handshake with Kohli.
