‘Gambhir bacha hi rahega Pata nayi kab bada hoga’- Fans react as alleged conversation between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir surfaces

Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli got involved in a heated altercation in the 43rd match of the IPL 2023 between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore ended. It started when they shook hands with each other. Gambhir appeared to shake Kohli’s hand aggressively. Then when Kohli was having a chat with Kyle Mayers, Gambhir pulled Mayers away from Kohli.

Now the alleged conversation between the two heavyweights have emerged. It somewhat went like this.

During the altercation, Gambhir told Kohli that abusing any of the LSG players is like abusing Gambhir’s family. Kohli then reportedly responded to Gambhir saying, “Then you take care of your family. Gambhir then retorted, “So now…, i have to learn from you.

Both Kohli and Gambhir were fined 100% of their match fee.

Lucknow Super Giants will face Chennai Super Kings at home on Wednesday

After the game, there was another heated exchange between Kohli and Naveen ul Haq. There were reports that said Kohli had shown Naveen his shoes. Naveen also shook Kohli’s hand very aggressively when the two players met for handshakes after the game was finished.

Kohli and Naveen also took the on-field fight to social media where they took jibes at each other through Instagram posts which went viral. This fight had its roots all the way from the M Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bangalore where LSG won a nail bitter over there against RCB.

After the game, Gambhir made a gesture with his finger on his lips and shushed the Chinnaswamy crowd. At the Ekana Stadium, Kohli did something on the similar lines. He also used the finger gesture to the Lucknow crowd but urged them to support RCB instead of the home side.

The home crowd also rallied behind Kohli and supported RCB after the match ended. The game was an absolute humdinger and RCB ended up on the winning side by a narrow 18 -run margin. LSG will take on Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday at home. There are reports that Krunal Pandya could captain LSG in KL Rahul’s absence as he picked up an injury during the RCB game.
