Legends League Cricket has been a great spectacle at Qatar in Doha. This is the third season of the League. On Wednesday, there was a thrilling game between the India Maharajahs and the World Giants. Maharajas could score only 136-9 in their 20 overs. They got their thanks to Suresh Raina’s 49 off 41 balls. The southpaw hit two fours and three sixes in his knock.

After the game, Raina was asked a question about a potential comeback to the Indian T20 League after his performance. To which the former India cricketer gave a witty reply. “Everyone wants you back in the Indian T20 League after your performance tonight in Legends League Cricket,” a reporter asked in the post-match press conference.

Suresh Raina replied, “I’m Suresh Raina, not Shahid Afridi. I’ve taken retirement (laughs)”. This was a reference to Afridi, who took retirement many times but made comebacks in his international career.
