With the conclusion of Play-In Stages, BLAST Premier Spring Group matches have finally come to a close. Six teams will now be moving forward directly to the Spring Finals for even more intense and challenging matches.

Two more teams, G2 and Astralis have now secured their spots at the Spring Finals from the Play-In Stage. G2 Esports faced Team Liquid, while Astralis faced BIG.

Match Overview

  • G2 Vs Team Liquid (2-0)

No doubt that G2 is arguably the better team in this match-up. However, Team Liquid did put up a great fight before losing most heartbreakingly. The teams managed to eliminate opponents but did not have a kit to defuse the bomb.

The second match was a breeze for G2 on their map pick and defeated Team Liquid with a 13-7 score securing a spot in the Spring Finals.

  • Astralis Vs BIG (2-1)

Astralis had a really tough time with BIG. Both teams were not ready to give up, leading the first map into overtime. However, Astralis lost the map 12-16 in overtime.

The second map however was dominated by Astralis with a 13-9 score leading to the decider map. The final map once again saw a power struggle between the two teams going into overtime. Astralis Managed to clutch the game with a 16-14 score.
