From Anushka Sharma to Kriti Sanon – Actors that will debut on OTT in 2024!

In 2024, a number of actors will make their OTT premieres, so things are looking good already. The OTT space has not only given content creators a medium but along with it much more. OTT offers the makers and their viewers freedom. The freedom from place and time boundness and the freedom from censorship. From Anushka Sharma to Kriti Sanon, many film stars will be seen for the first time on OTT this year.
In 2024, Bollywood actors will keep exploring new narratives and media. Fans are really excited to see some of their favourite big-screen stars debut on the OTT platform. The actors who will be making their digital debuts are listed below.
New OTT debutants of 2024:
1. Anushka Sharma – Chakda Xpress:
In this biographical film, the ‘Zero‘ movie actor portrays Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The thirty-five-year-old has been working hard in a cricket shirt in a number of behind-the-scenes pictures that have gone viral. Netflix will premiere the film.
2. Vaani Kapoor – Mandala Murders:
With this crime thriller, Kapoor is going overboard, referring to it as a “clutter-breaking project”. This gritty series is being directed by Gopi Puthran, who directed Mardaani 2. YRF is the producer of it.
3. Kriti Sanon – Do Patti:
In addition to starring in ‘Do Patti’, Sanon is producing the movie as well. Kajol is included as well. Producer Sanon has teamed up with writer Kanika Dhillon.
4. Urmila Matondkar – Tiwari:
The gritty thriller Tiwari marks the 90s Bollywood diva’s digital debut. The 49-year-old actor is expected to play an action-packed mother-daughter story at the heart of the programme. The first-look poster for Matondkar, which is helmed by Saurabh Varma, is drawing attention already.
5. Surbhi Chandna – Rakshak 2:
The TV actor appears in ‘Rakshak: India’s Braves Chapter 2‘ alongside Barun Sobti. Stories of declassified army missions are told in the second instalment, emphasising the bravery, heroism, and pride of those involved. According to reports, the Ishqbaaaz actor will be playing a crucial role. Amazon miniTV will host the program’s premiere.
6. Sharmin Sehgal – Heeramandi:
Sehgal, the niece of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, made her Bollywood debut in the 2019 film ‘Malaal’. Now, she’s taking her talents to Netflix with ‘Heeramandi’, a series that centres on a group of courtesans in Lahore during the British Raj.
