Hrithik Roshan is known for his ripped body. The actor follows a rigorous exercise schedule in addition to eating a healthy diet. In an interview with India Today, Hrithik Roshan’s personal trainer Kris Gethin discussed the actor’s exercise regimen that helped him develop the toned body he will be sporting in the upcoming movie Fighter. Co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, Fighter features Hrithik as an Indian Air Force pilot – Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty.

5. Early morning work-out:

Regarding Hrithik’s training regimen, Kris Gethin informed the portal that a lot depends on whether the actor is filming day or night. When filming takes place during the day, the actor-trainer team begins work as early as 5 or 6 am. After eating breakfast, Hrithik spends forty-five minutes working out.

4. Early to bed:

Kris Gethin stated, “The average workout lasts around an hour. Although it’s brief, it’s intense and very challenging. Weight training usually takes place five days a week, contingent on the sleep schedule of actor Hrithik Roshan. Recovery is crucial since it improves performance, so if he gets a good night’s sleep, it should take him five days, if not four. Hrithik’s nighttime is around 9 pm, and not later than that.”

According to Kris Gethin, “A holistic approach to achieve the desired results. Functional exercises like boxing, kettlebell work, battle ropes, and plyometrics can take up to thirty minutes. Even if you’re exhausted, we can’t afford to skip workouts because sometimes we only have 12 weeks to complete a look. Thus, consistency is essential.”

2. The secret sauce:

Cardio! According to Kris Gethin, depending on how far along he is in the process of looking for a job, Hrithik may do cardio once a day or even twice a day. The fitness trainer said that exercises like swimming, ellipticals, stairmaster rowers, and running could be used for that. Kris stated that periodically “changing up” the cardio routine is crucial.

1. Meal plan:

According to Kris Gethin, “The actor eats egg whites, chicken, whey protein, fish, and sources of complex carbohydrates like oats, quinoa, rice, and sweet potatoes. Hrithik usually has 6-7 meals in intervals. But if he is unable to eat as frequently, he drinks shakes instead. Generally speaking, though, he tries to eat whole foods whenever possible.”
