The FIFA World Cup 2022 kicked off on November 20 between Qatar and Ecuador and in no time, the tournament is fast approaching the knockouts stage, as the teams started playing their final group stage games on November 29, Tuesday.
To add more, England and Wales locked horns in the Group B match and it was the former who dominated the game in the second half. Concerning the first half, neither of the teams managed to grab a goal to their name and eventually the scoreline remained at 0-0 at the end of the first half.
Regarding the second half, the Three Lions were brimming with confidence and managed to score three goals to their name in the deciding 45 minutes. To add more, Marcus Rashford opened the account for his team with a goal in the 50th minute, followed by Phil Foden in the very next minute. Eventually, Rashford scored yet another goal in the 68th minute and grabbed a brace.

On the other hand, USA and Iran from the group locked horns and it was the American side that came out on top on the back of a stupendous goal from Christian Pulisic in the 38th minute of the game. The first ended with a scoreline 0-1 in USA’s favour and the match looked evenly poised at the stroke of the 45-minute mark whistle.
To add more to the second half, although Iran created a few opportunities, the defence from the Americans were too good for the former to match the lead. Eventually, after toiling hard in the middle for 90 minutes, USA managed to emerge victorious with Pulisic being the sole goal scorer for the team.
USA and England would hope to carry on with the momentum in the Round of 16 stage and they would aim to cement their place in the quarter-finals. However, the Three Lions are dominating the tournament and might as well make it through to the summit clash of the biggest sporting event.
