Suryakumar Yadav has scored three hundreds in T20I cricket.

A video of Suryakumar Yadav playing a gully cricket game has, recently, been shared by the official handle of the Mumbai franchise. The video has now gone viral on the internet. In the video, Suryakumar takes a batting stance, shapes up and then plays a sweep shot.

The shot was lovingly appreciated by the public who were present there. Suryakumar has been an integral part of Mumbai in the Indian T20 League for a long time now.

Suryakumar has been one of the best batters for India in T20I cricket. Suryakumar has scored 1675 runs for the Men in Blue in the shortest format of the game with a highest score of 117. In the T20I format, the right-handed batter has scored three hundreds. The 32-year-old has made the runs at an average of 46.52 and at a strike rate of 175.76.

Suryakumar is famous for his 360 degree style of play. He likes to play shots all around the wicket. The right-handed batter targets those areas on the cricket field that are very rarely utilized. Surykumar uses his wrists to good effect which allows him to attack both the on side and off side.

Batters around the world have been stunned by the batting skills that Suryakumar Yadav possesses. The admiration club for Surya includes Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell, in an interview, said that when Suryakumar scored his second T20I hundred just after the 20-20 World Cup in Australia, he could not believe his eyes as to what he saw, labelling his innings as ‘extraordinary’.

Suryakumar started his career in the Indian T20 League as a middle order batter for the Kolkata side and largely played a finishing role. His role at Mumbai changed when he shifted bases as he became a top order batter who could also bat at no 4.

The right-handed batter has made a 2644 runs in the Indian T20 League with 16 fifties and at a strike rate of 136.78. He has got the highest score of 82.
