Dutch Mantell has created waves in the WWE circuit as a manager. Mantell who is a well-known face when it comes to the wrestling circuit shared his views about Charlotte Flair breaking Ric Flair’s World record of 16 Championships. Charlotte also got a long streak for herself when she won the Women’s Championship 14 times. She will be at it again this week when she goes up against Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship on SmackDown which will be conducted this week.

Now, she potentially could become a 15-time champion and move to break a longstanding record which was earlier set by John Cena and her father Ric Flair. Mantell, on Sportskeeda wrestling, talked about Charlotte surpassing Ric in a rare feat. “She’s going for her 15th (Women’s Championship)… So they’re working to beat the 16 that her dad had, right? So when she wins it, then she’ll lose it and she’s going for the 16th, which will tie her dad, which would actually be a big deal. Maybe WrestleMania next year? And if she breaks it, that’s probably Money in the Bank, maybe SummerSlam the next year, so they got something to look forward to. So she’ll be a 17-time women’s champion in WWE. That will never be broken,” he said.

I am a bit partial; I like Lacey Evans- Dutch Mantell

“I hated it. Lacey Evans really deserves better. I don’t mind her getting beat… Put somebody else with Charlotte if they can, but both these girls are pretty big girls. Lacey, I am a bit partial to her; I like her. I don’t think they could put somebody else in there because the match was so short that they were just working towards the finish for Asuka to make her way into the ring, but it is what it is. I don’t think it hurt anybody,” Mantell added.

Charlotte was seen on WWE SmackDown last week when she wrestled in a singles fixture against Lacey Evans. Evans was no match for Charlotte, who was on fire in the game as she lied flat within three minutes in what was a resounding victory for Charlotte. Mantell also talked about an underfire Lacey who was hit hard. He said that she deserved much better. The game that took place between Evans and Charlotte looked like it happened right at the last minute.
