Amid all the confusion about the World Cup 2023 schedule as well as the Indian team squad, the fans were elated by the good news as the star India pacer, Jasprit Bumrah was seen practising at full pace at National Cricket Academy (NCA). Bumrah was seen balling in tandem with Prasidh Krishna who is also going through rehabilitation. Their prospective returns could prove to be a major boost for Team India as the World Cup 2023 approaches.

Bumrah and Krishna were seen bowling to Mumbai batsmen as a part of their workout at the Alur Grounds in Bangalore. Coincidentally, both pacers recently underwent surgery for stress fractures in their backs. Since 2022, Bumrah has been out of the running for international selection but if he can get back to 100% fitness, the Indian pace attack might be greatly enhanced.

The star India bowler’s injury prevented him from participating in a number of important competitions for the Indian side, including the T20I World Cup in 2022, the Asia Cup in 2022, and the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023. However, Prasidh Krishna hasn’t been in the running for selection since his final appearance for India in August 2022.

The Times of India said that Bumrah completed his allotted 10 overs, which were split into two spells. In addition, Krishna faced the same batters in the warm-up games when he was bowling.

Indian cricket board Secretary Jay Shah revealed Bumrah will soon make his comeback

Recently, the secretary of the Indian Cricket Board Jay Shah revealed that the star Indian speedster, Jasprit Bumrah could be seen making his comeback in Indian colours in the upcoming T20I series against Ireland.

With the ODI World Cup 2023 all set to begin on October 5, the Indian team would be hoping that the 29-year-old makes a comeback with his all-game. India will kick start their tournament with a match against five-time World Champions, Australia on October 8 at Chennai.
