Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh expecting their first child
After several rumours, Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh have finally announced pregnancy through a social media post. While not super detailed, it was enough to let everyone know that the power couple of Bollywood was expecting.
As per further reports, Deepika is currently in her second trimester. The post shared says ‘September 2024’ which indicates the month they are expecting their child.
Rumours regarding the pregnancy also came ahead of the announcement. The initial speculation was raised by The Week. During the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), the actress was spotted covering her midriff on the red carpet. This left many fans speculating.
It seems that the couple is quite excited to welcome the child. In an interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika has already revealed that motherhood is something she looks forward to very much. She also revealed that Ranveer also loves children, and they look forward to the day they start their own family.
“In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer, and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children,” she further said.

Both actors boast a huge fan following and as expected, everyone congratulated Deepika and Ranveer. Within minutes of posting, the comment section was filled with fans wishing the duo their best.
The actors got married back in 2018 and recently celebrated their fifth anniversary. Since then, both have worked together in multiple blockbusters like Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani. Their next appearance is set to be with Prabhas in the science fiction action thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
