Tekken 8 came out as a huge success. The game is now quite popular and gave players even more players with the base release. Now, the game is set to release its first DLC character, and it is none other than our beloved dancing fighter Eddy Gordo.

Eddy was not available as one of the playable characters on release, however, players are finally getting him as the first additional character. Along with Eddy, there will be three more characters joining the season 1 roster.

More character revealed through data mine

There has been no official announcement for the other characters, and likely won’t be until Eddy is released. While people know that Eddy will be available sometime in spring 2024, no date has yet been revealed.

However, data miners have found potential character release after Eddy is released. The summer release will reportedly be Lidia Sobieska. Following that, players can expect Fakhumram for the Autumn release and Craig Marduk to be the final release for year one.

All of these unconfirmed characters were also previously DLC characters, so it makes sense to see them in Tekken 8 too. What’s surprising was Eddy as a DLC character, although there is already a huge roster in the game itself.

Here are all the characters in current roster –

Alisa Bosconovitch
Asuka Kazama
Bryan Fury]
Claudio Serafino
Devil Jin
Feng Wei

Jin Kazama
Jun Kazama

Apart from the upcoming characters, there is much more going on in the Tekken 8 community, including the upcoming Tekken World Tour. The announcement has already been done and everyone is already excited to see the new game in action.
