The fans have witnessed 7 days of action-packed sporting events in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022. On day 8 on Friday, India’s one of the strongest suits, wrestling gets underway in Birmingham. India will be hopeful of medals as some of India’s big medal favourites will be in contention.
India are currently placed at the 7th spot in the standing at the event. When it comes to the overall number of medals, India have bagged 18 medals, comprising 5 golds, 6 silver, and 7 bronze. The women’s hockey team will be up against Australia in the semi-final match, while a host of Indian wrestlers will be in action, competing in different weight categories.
