Cristiano Ronaldo’s cryptic Instagram post after Lionel Messi wins FIFA awards goes viral
Former Portugal football player Cristiano Ronaldo has posted a cryptic caption on his latest Instagram post after Lionel Messi won the FIFA The Best men’s award. The FIFA World Cup 2022 winning captain, Messi has won the award for the third time. After the 1986 campaign, the Southern American team won the tournament after a long wait. The team was led by the former Barcelona player.
Messi won the award mostly for his work at PSG and Inter Miami, having helped the French giants to another Ligue 1 title before moving to MLS in July and inspiring Miami to their first-ever trophy, the Leagues Cup. Apart from this, he helped his national side to top CONMEBOL’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification table after six games. The veteran was not in attendance in London to collect the award.
Meanwhile, after the awards, Ronaldo posted a picture of himself with the caption “Back for more!”
