The Commonwealth Games will begin on July 28 and go on until August 8. Almost 213 players will represent India, out of which 108 are men and 105 are women. The likes of PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikant, Neeraj Chopra, and Lovlina Borgohain will look to make an impression once again. India will be participating in Badminton, Boxing, Judo, Wrestling, Hockey, Swimming, Triathlon, Cricket, Athletics, Squash, Cycling, Weightlifting and Table Tennis.

IN BADMINTON: PV Sindhu will look to make a mark once again. She has been a star for India and has made the country proud on many occasions. She’ll try to make India proud once again. Young shuttler Lakshya Sen will be making his maiden appearance and Kidambi Srikant will look to go big. The young Indian contingent has enough abilities to make it big for the country. This is one sport where India can pile up medals.

IN ATHLETICS: Neeraj Chopra is one of the most important athletes to watch out for. Alongside him, we have other young athletes who’ll try to make their mark in the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022. It will be an exciting one as many athletes will go big for the medal. This is another department where India can shine.

IN CRICKET: Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian team would look to bag a medal for India. This is the first time women’s cricket will be involved in the Commonwealth Games and will be an exciting one. The match against Pakistan will be a thriller for sure.

IN BOXING: Olympic Star Lovlina Bargohain and Nikhat Zareen will be eyeing up the medal. Amit Panghal might also try to impress the people of India with his skills. It is a must-watch out for in the multi-sport event.

IN HOCKEY: Manpreet Singh-led Indian Hockey Team are all set to begin their campaign. The skipper had already revealed that they are daring to win it for the country. On the other hand, the Women’s Hockey Team will do their best to win a medal for the country.

IN WEIGHTLIFTING AND WRESTLING: Weightlifters and wrestlers are also set to begin their campaign. This time, a young team is sent to the multi-sport event. All eyes will be on them to give their best for the country. The likes of Sanket, Gurdeep and Vikas Thakur will aim for the medal. And in the women’s category, we have Popy, Punam Yadav who will try to make an impression.

Other than that, we also have young players going big in Cycling, Judo, Swimming, Squash etc. They all will have their eyes on the medal and would love to return with a medal for India.
