In big news coming in, Rinku Singh and other youngsters will be flown to Ireland as per reports. The three T20Is against Ireland will take place in Ireland on August 18, 2023. When it came to the West Indies series Rinku was shown the cold shoulder and not considered for selection. Rinku has set the Indian Premier League (IPL) on fire, especially in the last two seasons. In IPL 2023 he finished many games in pressure situations for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

In IPL 2023, Rinku made 474 runs in 14 games for his franchise. He has played for KKR primarily as a middle-order batter. The left-hander had an average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.52. He also struck four fifties in the season. The 25-year-old hit 31 runs in one over off Yash Dayal in the match against Gujarat Titans and won KKR the game from almost an impossible situation.

The India squad for the West Indies tour was announced on Wednesday, Tilak Varma and Yashasvi Jaiswal have earned call-ups to the Indian T20 side against West Indies. Ravi Bishnoi and Sanju Samson make comebacks to the Indian squad for the West Indies tour. According to reports, Ruturaj Gaikwad might also play against Ireland.
