‘Chalo dil to jeet hi liya next target kidney rakhna’ – Fans react as Ellyse Perry cleans dugout after losing against Delhi
The inaugural season of the Women’s T20 League has been a nightmare for the Smriti Mandhana-led Bangalore franchise. They have lost five out of five games they played this season and are on the verge of elimination. The team racked with star players failed to deliver in the most important games. However, Australian allrounder Ellyse Perry has been one of the plus points for the side.
Perry has been phenomenal in the season as she has been solely trying to get a game for Bangalore. In the last match against Delhi when the team was in trouble Perry hammered a half-century to rescue her team. Although, due to a lack of support from other players and less consistency Bangalore has failed to ride on her amazing performance.
Meanwhile, a video of Ellsy Perry cleaning the dirty dugout of Bangalore has surfaced on social media. The Australian is getting much respect and appreciation from the fans for her heartwarming gesture. In the video and pictures, Perry can be seen picking up empty cans and other trash after they lost the game against Delhi.
Will Bangalore be able to qualify for playoffs?
After losing against Delhi Bangalore now needs to win every game with a huge margin to be in contention for the playoffs. Smriti Mandhana and co not only need to win their own game but also need to pray for others.
Bangalore will hope Mumbai continues its dominance and win the rest of its games which will increase Bangalore’s chances to qualify. Notably, Bangalore will face Alyssa Healy-led UP in the 13th match of the Women’s T20 League. This will be a do-or-die game for Mandhana and co.
Meanwhile, fans react to Ellyse Perry’s heartwarming gesture and call her a legend. A Twitter user said, “She is a goat she needs to clean every trash done by Bangalore.”

That is the best contribution from her after 5 consecutive losses at least she is trying her best to prove her worth to franchise

Great gesture from cameraman who's just recording her, instead of helping her

That is a general civic discipline abroad.
