Sky t20 performances was the base to include him in the tests… right??? Now , rahane is playing well on top of that he has experience in over seas conditions .. justifies rahane’s place in place of sky… that was so simple a logic to understand for a cricket expert if you are…
Horses for courses? With a Big WTC final overseas and unavailability of Iyer favours Rahane's position in the team more than anything else. Just like the talks of KL playing ahead of Bharat as a keeper. How long does this go is not known. But you go with the best.
Need better analyst to understand this. Select Kiya usko as we anticipated playing on turning tracks and Aus was going to come with 2-3 spinners this time around and Sky was hence best bet n be game changer like Pant with attacking cricket vs Spin.Shreyas was always first choice!
Sir, I think the same way SKY entered into the Test line up. While most of our top order batsmen failed, Rahane became the scapegoat & they dropped him. He’s the BGT winning captain & deserve to play that WTC final. Simple. If SKY fast tracked into Test using T20. Why not Rahane?
