Bowlers with most 5-wicket hauls in Asia Cup since 2000
Only one bowler has more than two 5-wicket hauls in Asia Cup.
1. Lasith Malinga
Lasith Malinga is the only bowler to claim three 5-wicket hauls in the history of the Asia Cup 2023. Interestingly, all his three fifers came against Pakistan. Two of them came in the 2014 edition and the other came in the 2010 edition. In 2010, Malinga claimed 5/34 in Dambulla. In 2014, the right-arm pacer claimed 5/52 and 5/56 in Fatullah and Mirpur respectively. The record of the unorthodox bowler is simply phenomenal in the Asia Cup.
