3. Dunith Wellalage
Dunith Wellalage claimed a 5-wicket haul in the 2023 Asia Cup against a strong team like India. On a slow and turning wicket in Colombo, Wellalage proved to be a lethal weapon for the home side. The left-arm orthodox spinner claimed 5 wickets in his 10 overs and conceded 40 runs including a maiden over. Wellalage also scored an unbeaten 42*(46) with the bat in the match Sri Lanka lost by 41 runs.
