The action thriller ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ starring Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, is expected to light up screens on Eid 2024. The action comedy, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and named after the 1998 David Dhawan film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, opens in theatres on April 10.
‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ will compete with Ajay Devgn’s much-delayed film ‘Maidaan’ on the occasion of Eid. On Sunday, January 21, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on social media. He wrote, “#Maidaan, featuring #AjayDevgn, will arrive this Eid. The revised date of release is April 2024.under the guidance of Amit Sharma.”
Ajay Devgn stars in the biographical sports drama ‘Maidaan’ which is based on the legendary years of Indian football, 1952–1962. Ajay portrays the well-known football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who made history by leading India to semi-final appearances in the 1956 Summer Olympics and gold medals in the Asian Games in 1951 and 1962.

The Amit Sharma-helmed movie’s November 2020 release date was declared in 2019. Nevertheless, COVID-19 forced a postponement of the filming, which prevented it from being completed. There had been no project updates until the teaser was released in March 2023, revealing a new release date of June 23, 2023. However, ‘Maidaan’ had to be rescheduled due to post-production delays.
