BIG UPDATE – Hrithik Roshan to kick-start Ayan Mukerji’s high-octane action film War 2 from next week!
The audience loved Hrithik Roshan’s portrayal of agent Kabir in Siddharth Anand’s film War. After the movie’s 2019 release, discussion about a certain scene among people began to emerge. Discussions about his return in War 2 were rekindled when he was hinted at in a post-credit scene of the Diwali 2023 movie Tiger 3. As per a report published by Pinkvilla, Hrithik is scheduled to begin filming War 2 the following week.
An insider source revealed, “With great motivation, Ayan Mukerji, the director of the YRF Spy Universe Film, is poised to present a new side of Hrithik Roshan as Kabir in the War sequel. Hrithik Roshan is all set to start shooting for War 2 by February 23. With an action-packed opening sequence created by Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Chopra, and the whole action team of the movie, he begins the journey on War 2. The filmmakers are confident that Hrithik will captivate the audience from the very first scene of the movie, and he will spend the next two weeks filming his opening action sequence.”
Hrithik Roshan is ready for action:
For War 2, Hrithik has been putting in a lot of hard training. The actor did, however, suffer a lower back injury. The actor previously posted a mirror selfie on Wednesday in which he is seen using crutches. Even though it’s not a serious injury, he should return to the set by next week. It’s also said that the film will be grittier and darker than previous YRF Spy Universe instalments. In addition, August 14, 2025, is the scheduled release date for the film.
The source further claims, “Ayan Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have meticulously worked on the script of War 2 to differentiate it from all that has been done in the YRF Spy Universe till date. As indicated by the Kabir post-credit sequence, War 2 will be an action extravaganza unlike any other, with a slightly gritty and darker tone.”
Meanwhile, Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe will welcome its newest member with the release of War 2. Prior to War 2, films like Pathaan (2023), Tiger 3 (2023), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), and so on garnered a lot of attention from viewers. In addition to Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani appear in War 2.
