Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face Delhi Capitals (DC) in the capital of the country. Both teams are looking for a win to continue their decent campaigns till now. With five victories in nine games, the Royal Challengers Bangalore are now fifth in the IPL 2023 standings. With a decisive victory over the Capitals today, they might move up to second place. Delhi, on the other hand, is having a difficult season so far, as they are currently bottom of the league’s standings with just three wins.
Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli, the star batter for Bangalore, met with Rajkumar Sharma, his boyhood coach, before the team’s match against Delhi Capitals on Saturday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. While watching the game in Delhi, Rajkumar was present. Kohli approached his boyhood coach as he waited at the field and stroked his feet to be a sign of respect. The two then started conversing, and Kohli appeared to indicate that there was a stand at the venue that bears his name.
Rajkumar, who was important in helping Kohli develop as a cricketer, recently spoke with the Royal Challengers Bangalore team and discussed many aspects of the 34-year-old batter’s initial years in the game.

Kohli developed rapidly under Rajkumar’s guidance, initially representing the Delhi state side and later inspiring the Indian U-19 squad to triumph in the 2008 World Cup. Kohli was chosen for the Royal Challengers Bangalore the same year, and he eventually received his first call from India for the tour of Sri Lanka.
Today, Kohli is considered to be one of the game’s all-time great batters. Rajkumar, in the meantime, continues to mentor young players at his Delhi academy and makes expert appearances on a few national news stations.
