Big Bash League (BBL) is one of the biggest and oldest T20 leagues in the world and the T20 extravaganza is back with its 13th edition. The season has already kicked off on December 7 with 2022/23 finalists Brisbane Heat clashing against Melbourne Stars at the Gabba.
After a heart-wrenching loss to Perth Scorchers in the 2022/23 final, the Heat started the new season on a high note, defeating the Stars by an impressive margin of 103 runs. This season presents an opportunity for teams like Hobart Hurricanes and the Stars to clinch their first-ever BBL Trophy. Let’s take a glance at the list of BBL champions from 2011 to 2023.
