India lost their last ODI series 1-0 at the hands of New Zealand under the leadership of Shikhar Dhawan. Their full-time captain, Rohit Sharma will be making his return to the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh alongside the likes of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.

The trio should bolster the batting unit and India would be looking to return to winning ways. The squad also has other talented individuals in the batting attack such as Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, etc.

The pace-bowling department will be led by Mohammed Shami and he will share the duties with Siraj and Chahar. After losing their last ODI series, the Men in Blue would be desperate to win this three-match ODI assignment.

Ahead of the start of the Bangladesh vs India ODI series, here’s a look at three tactical changes India can make to win the series.

  1. Making an aggressive start

Gone are times when 250-270 looked like a competitive score. England scored 500 on Day 1 of a Test match yesterday and teams are regularly notching 300-plus totals in ODIs as well.

For India to notch big scores in ODIs, they need to make an aggressive start and Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan should be mindful of that. In the first ODI against New Zealand, India posted 306 on the board and the Blackcaps chased that down easily. India mustn’t forget that.
