2. Persisting with Shreyas Iyer instead of Rishabh Pant
With KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli back in the team, it would be hard to accommodate both Pant and Iyer in the playing XI if India go with six bowling options. And with KL Rahul having the ability to keep wickets, the management could persist with Iyer instead of Rishabh Pant.
Iyer has been scoring runs consistently in ODIs and him sacrificing his spot for Pant should never be ideal.
