‘Baitke dekho puri raat’- Fans react as timings for India tour of West Indies annouced
India do not play any cricket for a month and then they will embark on a tour to West Indies which will comprise of two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is. Two of the T20I games will be played in the US. India would feel a bit more refreshed and relaxed when they tour the West Indies as they have got a break of a month after a taxing Indian Premier League (IPL) and straight into the WTC final after that.
The series will commence with two Tests, with the first match will began on July 12 in Dominica. The second Test will be played on July 20 in Trinidad. The second Test match will be the 100th Test match to be played between India and West Indies. The two Test will be followed by a three-match ODI series, while the tour will finish with a five-match T20I series. The eight white-ball games will be played from 27th July to 13th August.

India did not have the best of times at the World Test Championship final as Australia beat India by 209 runs. Australia turned the match with a 285-run partnership between Steve Smith and Travis Head after India reduced them to 76-3 at one stage. Australia made 469 in the first innings and got a 173-run lead after India were bundled out for 296. India had a to chase down 444 runs to win the game but it did not materialise.
