‘Badiya viral hogaya’ – Virat Kohli gets spotted in new Bangalore jersey ahead of unboxing event
Only a few hours are left before the unboxing event by the Bangalore franchise where they will unveil the new jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian T20 League. The event will take place at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. The famous trio of Bangalore including Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Chris Gayle will be present in the event to greet the fans.
However, some pictures have been leaked on social media where Kohli can be seen wearing the new Bangalore jersey ahead of the big event. The star Indian cricketer will be playing his 16th season for the franchise and is the only player in the history of the tournament to play this long for any single team.
Along with this, former Bangalore legends, De Villiers and Gayle will be inducted into Bangalore’s Hall Of Fame and the franchise will also retire their jersey numbers (ABD – 17) (Gayle – 333) in the Indian T20 League. De Villiers joined Bangalore in 2011 and played till 2021 before he retired from all forms of cricket. Gayle also became the part of the franchise in 2011 and played till 2017 before he was picked by the Punjab franchise for the 2018 season.
There will also be live performances from Jason Derulo, Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar, and Aditi Singh Sharma. Thermal and a Quarter, a Bengaluru-based rock band will make the event more interesting.
Banglore to kickstart their Indian T20 League campaign against Mumbai
The 16th edition of the Indian T20 League will kickstart on March 31st with an opening match between Gujarat and Chennai at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While Bangalore will begin their campaign on April 2nd with a match against the Mumbai franchise at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
