Babar Azam is the skipper of the Pakistan National Cricket Team and is one of the top batters in world cricket at the moment. As of August, the 27-year-old is the ranked one batter in both the limited overs format and ranked three in the Tests.

Pakistan skipper made his international debut in 2015 against Zimbabwe in an ODI. He scored a fluent fifty in his debut and never looked back ever since. He is the pillar of Pakistan‘s batting lineup and is considered a run machine across formats. He is one of those batters who averages 40+ in all three formats.

The ace batter apart from his heaps of accolades in cricket is known to earn a huge amount of money. The 27-year-old is one of the highest-paid cricketers in Pakistan. He is known to have a net worth of over $4 million (32 crore approx).

Babar is placed in the A category in the central contracts of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) across all formats. As per the reports of the Times of India, the Pakistan batter earns a monthly salary of 1.25 million PKR (Rs 4.44 lakh approx) from PCB’s contract.

The dashing cricketer along with the central agreement also receives a huge sum of money from his contract with the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). In the inaugural edition of PSL, the veteran batter was in the Silver category which saw him fetch a contract of $25,000 (Rs 20 lakh approx). With years, stocks of Babar had an exponential rise and this saw him moving higher up the PSL contract category.

The star player was placed in the topmost platinum category in 2019 and has been retained in the top category ever since. This contract fetches him $130,000 (Rs 1.03 crore approx). If one calculates his total earnings over his seven years in PSL, it will amount to over Rs 5 crore.

Babar has a huge following on social media. He has over 2.4 million followers on Instagram and over 3.6 million followers on Twitter. This makes him one of the top influential personalities in Pakistan. This global reach has earned him a lot of brand endorsements. Some of the top brands that the veteran batter endorses are Head & Shoulders, Oppo, HBL, Huawei, Free Fire, Gray Nicolls, and Credit Book. Though his earnings from endorsement have not been disclosed, he is rated among the highest-paid influencers in Pakistan.

The 27-year-old is currently leading Pakistan in the 15th edition of the Asia Cup being held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
