‘Are Bhai sahab neem karoli baba Jana tha’ – Fans bewildered as KL Rahul visits Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple with wife Athiya Shetty

KL Rahul has been going through a torrid phase of form as he has scored 38 runs in his last three innings. He scored 20 in the first Test at Nagpur, and in two innings in the second Test in Delhi, he scored 17 and 1. He has not been able to score freely, and it feels like he has gone into a shell. The Karnataka batter was also freed from being the vice-captain of the Test side over his poor form.

Rahul was recently seen paying a visit to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple situated in Indore. In the video, Rahul was seen praying fervently and offering prayers with full devotion. Maybe divine intervention could help in getting Rahul’s form back and he could get back amongst the runs very soon.

Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra had a huge argument about KL Rahul recently

Indore will also be the venue of the third Test of the four-match series. The last Test will be played in Ahmedabad. His last 10 innings of Test scores read 12,10,22, 23,10,2, 22 Did not bat, 17,10. His poor run-off form has not helped India get the best of starts and it has put more pressure on India’s opening batter at the other end.

There has been a lot of chatter on Rahul’s position in the Indian Team as Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra had a heated argument on Twitter recently regarding Rahul’s bad patch of form. Harbhajan Singh has also talked about Rahul’s form and said that it would be easier to drop him considering that he is no longer the vice-captain of the Indian Test side.

Shubman Gill has been hot on the heels of Rahul as he has been in red-hot form. He recently scored his maiden Test match hundred against Bangladesh and also made centuries in ODI cricket along with a maiden double hundred in ODIs against New Zealand. Gill had also shown his prowess at the top of the order in Brisbane when he scored a sparkling 91.
