Amitabh Bachchan gets spotted in Ayodhya to seek blessings at Ram Mandir
On Friday, actor Amitabh Bachchan travelled to Ayodhya to see the recently dedicated Ram Mandir. This occurred shortly after he took part in the consecration ceremony a few days prior, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present for.
Amitabh is seen being surrounded by a lot of security in a video that PTI obtained while he makes his way to the Ram Mandir to ask for blessings. The news agency wrote in a post that included the video “Actor Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) visits Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir to offer prayers. As he travels to the temple, the actor can be seen wearing traditional attire.” According to NDTV, the actor is in Uttar Pradesh to open a new showroom as the brand ambassador for a well-known jewellery company.

On January 22, Amitabh was also present in Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir’s Pran Prathishta ceremony. He was one of the thousands of invited guests from the entertainment, sports, and political domains. On that day, actor Abhishek Bachchan, his son, accompanied him. He posted some photos on X following the event, one of which showed the Ram Lalla idol inside the temple.
Also, he described it as “A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit” on his blog. He wrote, “A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit.. immersed in the reckoning of the TEMPLE at Shri Ram’s birth.. back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya.. the glory, the celebration and the belief of faith. Beyond this, not much can be said because faith is beyond description.”

It has been reported that Amitabh purchased a plot in an Ayodhya seven-star enclave prior to the consecration of the Ram Mandir. It is approximately fifteen minutes away from Ram Mandir and is said to be a 10,000-square-foot plot.
In terms of his career, Big B’s upcoming film is the science fiction action thriller Kalki 2898 AD, starring Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The film’s big-screen premiere is set for May 9. Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani both have significant supporting parts in the film. He most recently starred in the sci-fi action thriller Ganapath alongside Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff.
