Pakistan will play against Sri Lanka in a two match Test series.

The Pakistan players were in attendance at Shaheen Afridi’s wedding reception on July 7. The Pakistan pacer tied the knot with Shahid Afridi’s daughter Anisha in February. The event was held in Karachi and there were a lot of Pakistan players in attendance. The likes of Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Wahab Riaz, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammed Rizwan were all present.
The event was attended by a lot of other people and the venue was chalk block with people. There was a grand spread of food which whetted the appetites of the Pakistan players as they were seen getting ready to dine. The Men in Green will take on Sri Lanka next in the Island nation which will start on July 16. Meanwhile, there was Haris Rauf’s wedding which was taking place on the same night, but the Pakistan team could not attend it due to inclement weather and a tight schedule.
Sri Lanka and Pakistan will face each other in a two-match Test series from July 16
The Pakistan side will land in Sri Lanka on July 10. They will start the tour with a two-match Test series. The first Test will be held at Galle from July 16 to July 20. The second Test will take place in Colombo. This series hung in the balance as Sri Lanka had earlier opposed the hybrid model of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the Asia Cup. Now with things sorted out, the series will go on, The Asia Cup will start on August 31 and will be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka have also sealed their place in the World Cup qualifiers as they will take the flight to India to play in the World event. There will be no change to the India-Pakistan game as Ahmedabad will remain the venue for the game. Shahid and Wasim Akram asked why Pakistan is hesitant to play at Ahmedabad and blasted the team for being in two minds about this. India and Pakistan have only played each other at World events in recent times.
