Naveen-ul Haq was fined 50 % of his match fee after the altercation with Virat Kohli. He had a heated argument with the former RCB skipper in the match at Ekana Stadium. When the two players were shaking hands with each other Naveen appeared to be shaking Kohli’s hand aggressively, and in the end, Kohli just shook his hand off. When KL Rahul called him to have a chat with Kohli, he declined to do so.

Ahead of the match against Chennai Super Kings, Naveen was spotted speaking to Rajiv Shukla the former chairman of IPL. Naveen has had altercations with players in other leagues before the one with Kohli made headlines. In the Big Bash League, he had a showdown with D’ Arcy Short. Then in the Lanka Premier League, he got into a scuffle with Shahid Afridi. In the same tournament, he had a showdown with Thisara Perera and now in the IPL he and Virat Kohli clashed against each other.

After the heated incident between him and Kohli took place. Naveen responded with a cryptic post to Kohli’s on social media. “You get what you deserve, that’s how it should be and that’s how it goes,” Naveen wrote on Instagram.

This Nawas in response to Virat Kohli’s post which stated, “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”. When it comes to cricket, The Afghan pacer has done well for LSG. In the game against RCB, he picked up 3-30 and was the best bowler for his side. But sadly RCB won a thrilling game of cricket by a narrow margin of 18 runs. To add further, Naveen could be a great backup for Mark Wood who is likely to miss the later stages of the IPL due to the birth of his daughter.

Naveen has also played in the Caribbean Premier League. The Afghan speedster has had run-ins with Mohammad Amir in the LPL as well. One thing could be said, Naveen is not one to go down without a fight.
