India and New Zealand clashed against each other for the final time in the three-match ODI series at the Holkar stadium in Indore on Tuesday. New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl first. Rohit Sharma has put his doubters to rest as he continues his fine form in the series, picking up from where he left off in the last game.

On a good batting pitch, Rohit pummeled the New Zealand bowling attack and took them to submission. He scored a fast-paced innings of 101 off 85 balls with nine fours and six sixes. The right-handed batter played some exciting shots all around the ground, and it was visible right from the start that he was on course for something special.

Rohit Sharma had made 51 off 50 balls in the last ODI at Raipur where India won by 8 wickets

He played shots all around the park and forged a wonderful partnership with Shubman Gill who scored a scintillating 112 off 78 balls with 13 fours and five sixes. He has been wonderful for India in ODIs in his last 10 innings. He recently scored his first century at home against Sri Lanka and also became the youngest Indian and also the fifth to score a double hundred.

Rohit had scored a crisp 51 off 50 balls with seven fours and two sixes where India had skittled New Zealand down for just 108 runs in the second ODI at Raipur. The Indian skipper with that hundred in the third ODI has broken his century drought in the 50-over format as he scored an ODI hundred after 1100 days. The last time he scored an ODI hundred was on January 19, 2020, against Australia in Bengaluru.

Rohit had scored 9619 runs in ODIs. He has three double tons in ODI cricket. He has scored runs at an average of 48.65. He has scored 29 hundreds and 48 fifties in ODI cricket. He has the highest score of 264 against Sri Lanka. The Indian skipper revitalised his ODI career in 2013 when he left the middle order and became an opening batter for India.
