After more than a week-long break, both India(IND) and England(ENG)teams will be in action in the third Test, starting on February 15. The five-match series is leveled 1-1 and both teams would like to get ahead of each other. After the first game late last month, for the first time after 2021, the Three Lions led the series by 1-0. However, early this month, the home side managed to level the series.
Ahead of the series, while the European team announced their team for the entire series, the Asian side announced their team for the first two games. However, last week, the Indian Board announced the team for the rest of the series. Meanwhile, in this listicle, we will discuss three players who might get the last chances before the fourth Test.
The right-arm swing had a good start to his career in the West Indies and South Africa. However, in his first Test at home in Vizag, he looked completely ineffective. So much so, that he had to be taken off due to him getting hit by the England batters. Kumar looked clueless in the second Test and it seems that he might get to play in the third Test only if Jasprit Bumrah gets rested. However, the possibility of that is highly unlikely.

The wicketkeeper batter, since making his debut last February against Australia, hasn’t been able to make his mark. As India is missing the services of Rishabh Pant, the team has no choice but to play him. However, in the ongoing series, he did fine although their are a lot of things to improve. With the presence of Dhruv Jurel in the team, Bharat has to pull his socks or he might have to warm the bench for fourth Test.
The Madhya Pradesh player made his debut in the second Test. He looked impressive but didn’t make big impact. Even though he might only be his second Test, the competition is high with Sarfaraz Khan in the mix too. The Royal Challengers Bangalore player in the IPL needs a big innings.
