Australia’s opening batter David Warner has entered the Sydney Cricket Ground in style ahead of the city’s Derby. He will play his first game of the season of the ongoing BBL 2023-24 for the former champions, Sydney Thunders. The left-hander was playing his last Test against Pakistan during the early part of the season. On the other hand, Test vice-captain Steve Smith will play for the three-time winners, Sixers.
Meanwhile, ahead of the game, Warner has entered his home turf in grand style. In a video uploaded by the Big Bash League, the three-time World Cup winner entered the stadium after his helicopter landed inside the stadium.
