The Indian cricket board is known as the richest cricket board in the world. More often than not, some former cricketers take care of Indian cricket at the highest level of the board. The current president of the board, Roger Binny, was the highest wicket-taker in the 1983 ODI World Cup, which India won. Sourav Ganguly, who was the previous president of the board, was a very good cricketer.
From the days of Jaganmohan Dalmia to the days of Roger Binny, the board has done a lot for the welfare of India as a sports board. It is an appreciable feat, as the board is a private organization and owes nothing to anyone. The board has helped its cricketers in a good way to have a prosperous life, which enables the players to perform well for the team.
According to the latest reports, the Indian cricket board has decided to donate INR 2.25 crores for the development of gym equipment in the constitution club of India. Reportedly, a lot of present and past parliamentarians use the gym for improving their fitness. The Indian cricket board found the need to contribute towards the upgradation of the gym equipment.
The Indian cricket team is currently on a tour of the Caribbean islands. India won the Test series by a margin of 1-0 and the ODI series by a margin of 2-1. But the T20I series looks like a difficult mission for the Indian team, especially in the absence of senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja. India is currently trailing the series 0-2 and needs to win all three matches in the series.
A T20I series win in the West Indies would mean good preparation for the Indian team ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup, which will be played in the USA and the West Indies. India has tried a lot of new faces in the series. To win a series with new players would be a huge boost for the confidence of the team.

They should donate to emerging men and women cricket teams around the world…
Brazil women cricket team, Iceland, Nepal, Maldives men cricket team and so on…
What's the purpose of giving such a huge amount to unworthy inst.

donating for govt is nice ? donating for politicians who don't care about nation is nice ?
they should've donated it for football and other sports atleast that would've been relevant
— VIVEK.RO45 (@UniquePullShot) August 8, 2023
Nice gesture would be that if it was donated to those who really need and I don't think they really need it
