The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad was hampered by crowd issues, despite their great victory. The game was temporarily stopped as a result of fans acting erratically and throwing things onto the field after a few calls went against SRH. According to a report that stated supporters threw nuts and bolts at the LSG dugout, one of the objects struck their player Prerak Mankad in the head, according to the team’s fielding coach Jonty Rhodes.
This incident happened when the third umpire refused to give SRH player Abdul Samad a waist-high no-ball versus LSG’s Avesh Khan on the third ball of the 19th over, the brawl broke out. The on-field umpire initially ruled it a no-ball, but LSG chose to challenge the ruling. The third umpire was called to hear the case, and he reversed the first ruling, angering the crowd and SRH batsman Heinrich Klaasen. The South African batsman vehemently objected to the call and rushed to the umpire.
LSG members could be seen gesturing towards the audience as everyone on the pitch began to consider the decision made by the umpire. Although the exact incident that incited supporters has not been made public, there are allegations that some of them hurled nuts and bolts towards the LSG dugout. As mentioned earlier, Jonty Rhodes took to Twitter to clarify that the nuts and bolts hit Prerak Mankad. He said in his tweet, “Not at the dugout, but at the players. They hit Prerak Mankad on the head while he was fielding at long on.”
The on-field umpire reportedly had to make it all the way back to the dugout to try to settle things down when the game was stopped. Additionally, Andy Flower was seen conversing with the umpire. As De Kock as well as Klaasen, the two players from South Africa, were conversing, things were beginning to become ugly. In the interview that took place in the middle of the game, Klaasen expressed his unhappiness with the choice as well as how the audience responded.

What a security lapse, how could they allow nuts and bolts..at Mohali they don't even allow flags with sticks…they throw the sticks, one can only carry flags…
