‘600 games! What a milestone’ Jasprit Bumrah Congratulates Kieron Pollard for completing big milestone

Star Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah & all-rounder Hardik Pandya congratulated Kieron Pollard on completing his 600th T20 appearance. On Monday, former West Indies all-arounder Pollard became the first cricketer to play 600 T20 games.

“600 games! What a milestone Amazing achievement for an amazing player! Congratulations Polly @KieronPollard55,” tweeted Bumrah. “Congratulations Polly, 600 matches and counting what a legend!” tweeted Pandya.

The three players have been great friends and were lynchpins for the five-time champions Mumbai of the Indian T20 League.  Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah have played a lot of cricket together.

During his team’s game against Manchester Originals in the ongoing The Hundred event at Lord’s, the powerful batter reached the milestone of 600 T20 appearances. Kieron Pollard has been in great form in the Hundred. Kieron Pollard had a memorable game to remember. He hit a boundary four and also struck four monstrous sixes and made a game-changing unbeaten 34 runs off just 11 balls which orchestrated a big total for London Spirit.

This made sure that a big win was registered against the Manchester Originals in the Hundred Ball Tournament by 52 runs which got back Southern Brave into the reckoning in the tournament.

T20 numbers for Pollard are outstanding. Over 600 games, he has scored 11,723 runs at an average of 31.34. Of these, 104 is his highest score. In the format, Pollard has one century and 56 half-centuries. In addition, he has 309 wickets to his credit, with the top bowling figures of 4/15.

Over the years, Pollard has been a T20 favourite and a globetrotter. He has been a hot property across a number of teams including the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago’s national team, the Mumbai side in the Indian T20 League, the Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League, the Dhaka Gladiators and Dhaka Dynamites in the Bangladesh Premier League, the Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and also Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.
