1. Most Runs in a Single World Cup Edition

Tendulkar’s desire of lifting a World Cuptrophy was finally fulfilled in 2011. When MS Dhoni-led India lifted the World Cup at the Wankhede in Mumbai. However, eight years earlier, India was so close to lifting the 2003 World Cup. But sadly India lost to Australia in the final. Tendulkar scored 673 runs in that World Cup. This record is still not broken. He also received the Golden Bat in that World Cup in South Africa.
