Drafted in 2016, Pant has grown into a destructive batsman and a reliable wicketkeeper. His fearless approach and match-winning ability have made him a crowd favourite and a crucial component of the Delhi Capitals’ batting order. Pant suffered an accident earlier this year and yet, the franchise did not release him to free up money. Pant has played 98 games so far for DC and will surely play many more in the future. He is also the incumbent captain of the team which goes to show just how valuable he is to the franchise.
