The World Cup will be held in India for the fourth time. The Men in Blue will want to create history as they will play their cricket in home conditions. This is going to be a very hotly contested World Cup. The reason is teams from all over the world have played a lot of cricket in India on tour and also have helped themselves by playing a lot of Indian Premier League (IPL) games over the years. This has helped sides get used to Indian conditions and get accustomed to Indian pitches.

Although the pitches in India are going to be very batting-friendly with short boundaries, the bowlers for sure will create a point of difference in these games. Sides which have better and stronger bowling attacks will look to go all the way in the tournament. In cricket, the batters often set up games for their sides whereas the bowlers win games for their sides. So even with not the best of conditions to bowl in, they will look to create magic.
