Roy Emerson was one of the great players to come from Australia. Despite having retired a long time ago, Emerson continues to be fifth on the list of most number of Grand Slam titles won by a single player. Emerson ruled the tennis scene in the 1960s, winning all his slams in that era. Just like Federer and Djokovic, he won a total of 6 Australian Open titles. He also won 2 slams each in Australia, England, and the USA.

He is also the only male player to have won all four Grand Slam titles in singles and doubles. The former Tennis great won a total of 16 Grand Slam titles in doubles in addition to his 12 singles titles.
