4. Most wickets by an Indian in the tournament
Javagal Srinath and Zaheer Khan are currently the leading wicket-takers for India in the ODI World Cup. The former Indian bowlers have 44 wickets each to their name in the tournament, which is the highest by an Indian in the marquee tournament. Shami is currently third on the list. In 11 matches in the tournament, Shami has 31 wickets to his name. Although it is to be seen how many matches Shami might get in the tournament, the form in which Shami is in, he would not require many games to pick 14 more wickets in the tournament.
