India announced its squad for the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be happening in their own backyard. There are not many snubs in the squad. The eventual squad turned out to be good, as all the obvious names made it to the 15 members list. Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian side, whose deputy will be Hardik Pandya. The section of the players was very good. 

However, many fans are disappointed for some of their favorite players who missed out from the squad. Some of the popular names in the Indian cricket missed out from the list. The fans expressed their anguish over the decision of the members of the board not to select some of the players.

5. Prasidh Krishna 

Prasidh Krishna was one of the bowlers in the contention to be in the squad for a long time. It was so close that the pacer was picked in the Asia Cup squad for India despite returning from the injury in the limited time. In his limited career, Prasidh had impressed many with good performances across conditions against various teams. Sadly, the talented pacer could not make the cut for the eventual squad of the Indian team.
