After AJ Styles completed his incredible run as the head of the Bullet Club in New Japan, there was widespread speculation that he was on his way to the WWE. AJ would never be treated fairly as many fans believed that after years of being perceived as a TNA Wrestling person. Fans were shocked when AJ not only made his debut in the 2016 Royal Rumble battle but also walked down the ring at number three to fight with Roman Reigns. The fact that Styles didn’t win the Rumble was a sign to the WWE Universe that the year was going to be phenomenal.
