This is the latest instance of rain between the two teams. In the Asia Cup 2023 match between the two sides in Pallekele, India scored 266 runs in their innings, thanks to 82(81) from Ishan Kishan and 87(90) from Hardik Pandya. Pakistan’s innings did not start as rain interrupted the match. Despite the efforts of the ground staff, the match could not start. Both the teams were allotted a point, as the match was called off to the disappointment of the fans.
