Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first. The match was played at Rawalpindi. Sean Williams made 118 off 135 balls with 13 fours and one six Zimbabwe made 278-6 in their 50 overs. In reply, Babar Azam struck a run a ball 125 with 13 fours and one six. But still, Pakistan bottled up the chase and ended up at 278-9. In the Super Over, Blessing Muzarabani bowled the Super Over and got Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah out and conceded just three runs. The Chevrons chased the runs down very easily in three balls.
