2. Shubman Gill –

Shubman Gill impressed one and all with his spectacular strokeplay during the ODI series against West Indies. He scored a superlative unbeaten 98 in the last ODI of the tour. Ahead of the Zimbabwe tour, he will be looking to add more runs and make a case for getting a permanent slot in the team. Gill scored 205 runs in the recently concluded 50-over series against West Indies.

3. Sanju Samson –

Samson had a pretty good Indian T20 league season for the Rajasthan side this year. He also made a comeback into national team because of runs behind him. He will look to be consistent and score runs against a Zimbabwe bowling attack that is not the most challenging.

If he scores good amount of runs in the opportunities that he gets, he can pip Ishan Kishan for the second keeper’s spot in ODIs. This will help him get into the side for a good amount of time. It is time for him to convert his already horned talent into good consistent runs which will be of good help to the Men in Blue.
